Position Summary:

Bella Vida Garden Cafe

We are looking for engaging, hard-working Bussers who are seeking a great opportunity to work as part of our Bella Vida team. Bussers are thought of as our “dining room attendants” they support our Servers in setting up our dining room. Their responsibilities include serving plates, rolling silverware, refilling and serving beverages  when needed, cleaning & setting up tables, wiping seats and keeping floor swept around tables.. Bussers are key to ensuring that daily operations run smoothly, working well as a team in providing guest satisfaction at Bella Vida.

Responsibilities:

• Greet all Guests with friendliness & warmth.
• Prepare dining areas before guests are seated. (Clean seats, chairs, table & floor)
• Set table decor, napkins, utensils, (set ups) table tents, etc.
• Provide tableware and condiments on tables in their designated areas.
• Serve water, refill beverages.
• Provide special accommodations to families with young children. Assist server in getting crayons coloring sheets for children if you see it is necessary.
• Clean and reset tables after guests leave.
• Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Busser or other entry-level restaurant role is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, remaining calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, skid resistant sneakers or shoes..
• Work well in a team environment.
• Dependable, reliable means of transportation.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, holidays.
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 or less hours a day.
